When my wife wanted Skype I did a bit of research and the C web cam seemed to have everything she was going to need. If you are looking for an awesome webcam with a very very clear picture and smooth video then look logitehc more. I find the included software controller for the webcam to be finicky sometimes it doesn't save some of my lens settings, so I have to re-adjust every time I open the controllerbut it works caemra stays in place while its open.

The older which was a top performer not so very long ago looks anemic with its now seemingly fuzzy picture and artifacts. Have been using the same webcam for the last 7 years, and it still works as good as the day I bought it.
