INTERSOLV ODBC PARADOX DRIVER

One's Visual foxpro and 2 others I can't remember. Invariably people reinstall WP first, but there's no need. The latest MDAC version turns out to be 2. No, Microsoft gave us a command which points to the wrong folder, presumably confused by that counter intuitive folder naming. Once into WP though, having selected Paradox, it was just a case of navigation to the appropriate database.

The driver files have copied to the default location as prompted by the setup procedure. Made 2 attempts, first prompted for licence code, entered and it ran.

You've just prompted me to do something I've been meaning to do for some time - updating my MDAC Microsoft Data Access Components for anyone who's wondering drivers, which will also update ODBC drivers and should rectify any problems in the registry.

On a Windows 98 workstation I see what you mean. Currently using Pdx Visit both folders and run Odbcad Enter your name and security key. Trying both MS and Intersolv drivers, I hadn't realised before that Paradox setup applies to folders only - I couldn't specify a file. The latest MDAC version turns out to be 2.
