INTEL CORPORATION 82801 MOBILE PCI BRIDGE LINUX DRIVER DOWNLOAD

I bought this wireless card off the internet which stated it has the ability to run on any Linux distribution, so yesterday it arrived, i shoved the CD in as it told me to, and i looked in the setup files, only to find drivers for almost every type of Linux except for Ubuntu. I am using Linux version 2. I installed Ubuntu on a Compaq Laptop for a guy I used to work with. In order to isolate the problem and we did the following test. Is the chipset recognized?

I went through the same issue on install until I found a forum post somewhere that identified my Dynex devices chipset and then tracked down the supporting driver.
